This page is maintained by Fanacopia to explain how we handle personal information. It is a living document and will be updated as our practices change. Effective August 1, 2026.
This Privacy Policy applies to all Fanacopia Services that link to it, including our websites, mobile applications, communications, and APIs. It does not apply to third-party websites, applications, or services, even if accessed through Fanacopia. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of those third parties.
We may collect the following categories of information from or about you:
We use your information to operate, maintain, and improve the Services; process payments and manage payouts; enforce our Terms of Service and prevent fraud or misuse; communicate with you about your account, transactions, or support requests; personalize content and user experience; conduct analytics, benchmarking, and research (using anonymized data where possible); and comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you may have certain rights under applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) and similar laws. Subject to applicable law, these rights may include access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, and the right to withdraw consent. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority in your country of residence.

For users located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we process personal information under one or more of the following legal bases: performance of a contract to provide the Services and maintain accounts; legitimate interests to operate, secure, improve, and promote Fanacopia, prevent fraud, enforce our Terms, and understand how users interact with the Services; legal obligations to comply with applicable law, tax, accounting, payment, regulatory, and platform safety obligations; and consent where required by law.
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know, delete, and opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal information. Fanacopia does not sell personal information as defined under CCPA.
We retain personal information as long as necessary for the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy. Some transaction data may be retained for at least 7 years for regulatory compliance as required by law.
Fanacopia is based in the United States. If you access or use the Services from outside the United States, your personal information may be processed and stored in the United States or other countries where Fanacopia, its service providers, or payment processors operate. Where required by applicable law, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers of personal information, which may include contractual protections or other legally recognized transfer mechanisms.
We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, but no method is 100% secure. You use the Services at your own risk.
The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without parental consent.
You may request deletion of your Fanacopia account by emailing privacy@fanacopia.com or by using the account deletion tools available in the app, if available. When you request account deletion, we will delete or de-identify personal information associated with your account, subject to information we are required or permitted to retain for legal, safety, fraud-prevention, payment-processing, tax, accounting, dispute-resolution, platform integrity, or compliance reasons.
User-generated content that has been shared publicly or with other users may remain visible if removal would affect the rights or experience of other users, unless removal is required by applicable law. We may also retain records necessary to document transactions, enforce our Terms, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Services, email, or other reasonable means, in addition to updating the Effective Date.
