Frequently asked questions

Clear answers about checkout, payouts, and the content standards that keep Fanacopia suitable for a broad audience.

Stripe checkout

How does checkout work for a buyer?

Buyers choose an offer, enter an email for the order, and complete Stripe's embedded checkout form on the offer page. After payment is confirmed, they receive the order details and access to what they purchased.

Does a buyer need a Fanacopia account?

No. A buyer can complete a one-time purchase without creating a Fanacopia account. We use the email entered at checkout to send the order information and help with access if needed.

Who processes the payment?

Stripe processes the payment through its embedded checkout experience. Fanacopia provides the offer page and delivery flow; it does not build a separate card-entry form.

When is the buyer charged?

Stripe charges the buyer's card immediately when the payment is approved. The charge appears on the buyer's statement right away, and the order is confirmed within seconds.

When does a buyer get access to a drop?

Access is granted as soon as Stripe confirms the payment. The buyer sees the order confirmation page and can open the drop from their receipt link without waiting.

What if a payment fails or I do not receive my order?

A failed payment does not confirm the order. If a payment appears on a buyer's statement but the order is missing, contact support@fanacopia.com with the checkout email and payment receipt so we can investigate.

Payouts and fees

How do creators get paid?

Connect your bank details through Stripe in the Payouts section of your dashboard. Once Stripe verifies your account and payouts are enabled, funds can be routed to your connected account on Stripe's payout schedule.

When do payouts arrive?

Stripe sets the payout schedule. Timing depends on your country, bank, account history, and settlement timing. The exact next payout date appears in your Stripe account after onboarding.

What happens before I finish Stripe onboarding?

You can prepare your page and offers while onboarding is incomplete. Payout availability depends on completing Stripe's identity and account verification, and funds may remain pending until the connected account is ready.

What fees apply to a sale?

Fanacopia keeps a 10% platform fee. Stripe's payment-processing fees are separate and are deducted before the net amount reaches the creator's account.

How are refunds handled?

If a creator cannot deliver a paid request, the buyer may be refunded. Digital purchases are generally non-refundable unless required by law, covered by the Terms of Service, or approved by Fanacopia or the creator.

SFW expectations

What does SFW-only mean on Fanacopia?

Fanacopia is SFW-only. Creators may sell work, education, entertainment, digital products, and services that are suitable for a general audience and comply with applicable law.

What content is not allowed?

Do not upload or sell pornography, sexually explicit material, sexual services, sexualized nudity, exploitation, or content involving minors. Illegal, abusive, infringing, deceptive, or payment-processor-restricted content is also prohibited.

What happens if an offer does not meet the standard?

Fanacopia may remove or restrict an offer, suspend an account, or hold or reverse related transactions when content violates the Terms of Service, creates risk, or is required by law or a payment processor.

How do I report a concern?

Email support@fanacopia.com with the creator handle, offer link, and a short description of the concern. Do not include sensitive personal information unless support requests it.

Refunds, failed payments, and disputes

What happens if a payment fails?

A failed payment does not create an order and the buyer is not charged. The buyer can try again with the same or a different payment method. Temporary bank holds usually clear within a few business days.

When can a fan request a refund?

Digital purchases are final unless required by law or covered by the Terms of Service. If a paid request cannot be delivered, the fan may receive a refund. Each case is reviewed individually.

How long do refunds take?

Refunds are processed through Stripe. They typically appear on the buyer's original payment method within 5 to 10 business days, depending on the bank or card issuer.

How can a fan resolve a dispute?

Email support@fanacopia.com with the order email, creator handle, and a short description of the issue. Include a payment receipt if available. We review disputes within a few business days.

What if a creator does not deliver a paid request?

If a paid request is not delivered as described, contact support@fanacopia.com. We may issue a refund, remove the offer, or take other action based on the Terms of Service.

Fees, payouts, refunds, and content standards are covered in the Terms of Service.
